DenuoFlash: The Wizard is Back

tim harris

While this photo may more closely resemble an enraged Christian Bale, as seen in “American Psycho,” this is actually a telling college photo of our good friend and colleague Tim Harris, who has recently re-joined the ranks of Denuo as senior vice president.

While no stranger to the agency – he was one of the founders after all – Tim will focus on the development and promotion of new Denuo products and services. He will also work with Denuo clients to help them better understand and interpret the changing, modern marketplace.

As a founding member of Denuo, Tim helped build our unique plug-and-play operating model that allows us to openly collaborate with the best talent and agency resources around. He also co-founded the agency’s best-in-class gaming expertise when he launched the once standalone unit Play, the industry’s first and most recognized agency unit dedicated to leveraging videogames as a consumer contact medium.

Why, you ask? Well, frankly, we love Twitter. Nearly everyone in the office uses it on a daily basis. (Heck, Saneel even created some ) We’d hate to see Twitter disappear.

We also thought we could come up with a more innovative (and less intrusive) idea than ads via Twitter. Being ad supported means being focused on CPM – and that just didn’t make much sense to us. So with that – we released the hamsters onto the wheels in our heads and got to thinking.

A Welcoming Gift

Posted by Eric Bee | November 6, 2008

It’s Opening Day for our little corner of the internet, so let’s kick it off with a quick video to set the mood. Lower your lights, chill your beverage, and settle in for a piece of cinema history.

I give you Black Belt Jones.

After the jump (hey look, I’m a Gawker Media site), it’s Bas Rutten. He’ll be giving you some instructions on how to defend yourself if things get hairy during your visit to Denuology.com.

Welcome.
