So I actually woke up quite late today – after the event had occurred. For some reasons one of the first things I did was check Twinkle – a geo-aware Twitter iPhone application. I saw no less than 5 tweets from people around me announcing the good news. From there I figured out (based on the time stamps) that I had missed the event by about 10 minutes. Luckily my parents had TiVo – so I just rewound it and saw the amazing thing for myself. iPhone, Twitter, Twinkle, TiVo, and YouTube working in perfect harmony to deliver me a Rick Roll. I can’t wait for next years LOLcats/Whiskas and goatse/Preparation H floats. The internet is great, folks.
