A couple weeks ago I ran the Chicago marathon. It was a cold, slightly gloomy race – and the last two miles were absolute hell. But I had an ace up my sleeve – or rather in my hand. My iPhone 3GS. It helped me finish the marathon – and (more importantly for THIS post) it shifted my perspective on what experiences the current generation of “phones” are capable of delivering.

Stop overthinking it: the quickest brand entry

When I look at the surprising amount of inactivity in social media from brands (and yes, there’s clearly inactivity when you compare brand vs. consumer involvement), I get the sense it’s not a failure of understanding potential; it’s the result of not finding appropriate entry points. So, I thought I’d throw out 2 of the easiest (and most under utilized) ways of leveraging social media for any brand.
